Laughter: The Universal Language – #192

Anyone for a horse ride? 😄

Donald strode into “John’s Stable” looking to buy a horse.

“Over here,” said John, “I’ve got just the horse you’re looking for. The only thing is, he was trained by an interesting fellow. He doesn’t go and stop the usual way. The way to get him to stop is to scream, ‘Hey hey!’ And the way to get him to go is to yell, ‘Thank God.'”

Donald nodded his head, “Fine with me, so can I take him for a test run?”

“Sure,” said John.

Donald was having the time of his life! This horse sure could run, he thought to himself. They were galloping down the dirt road when suddenly Donald saw a cliff up ahead!

“Stop!” he cried – but the horse kept on going. No matter how much Donald tried, he could not remember the words to get it to stop.

“Yo yo!” he yelled, but the horse just kept on speeding ahead. They were five feet from the cliff when he suddenly remembered!

“Hey hey!” Donald screamed. The horse skidded to a halt just one inch from the cliff. Donald could not believe his good fortune. He looked up to the sky, raised his hands high in the air, breathed a deep sigh of relief and said with conviction, “Thank God.”

  1. Any chance we could get a certain orange person (or is he a woman, man, camera, or TV?) to take this horse out for a run by the cliff? 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
